■ Position Overview:
You will be involved in consulting projects across various sectors, supporting Japanese clients in their European business operations. Example projects include:
• SCM Reform for Manufacturers: Optimization of supply chain operations in factories and warehouses across Europe
• Renewable Energy Projects: Market entry support for Japanese energy companies in Europe, including regulatory research and proposals
• Life Sciences / Medical: Business process redesign and GxP/GDPR-compliant data management
• Regulatory Compliance (GDPR / AI Act, etc.): Developing internal policies and governance structures for Japanese companies
• Business & IT Consulting: ERP (SAP) implementation and process reengineering tailored to local business practices
• HR & Talent Management: Designing performance evaluation and training systems for European entities
Other responsibilities may include:
• Identifying client issues and proposing solutions
• Bridging communications between HQ in Japan and local subsidiaries
• Leading project phases (requirement gathering, analysis, proposal, execution support)
• Preparing documentation (presentations, analysis reports, roadmaps)
• Mentoring junior consultants or project team members (depending on experience)
■ Requirements:
▼ Must-Have:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a consulting firm
• Native-level Japanese proficiency
• Business-level English (used in meetings, documentation, proposals)
• Willingness and eligibility to work in either London or Düsseldorf
▼ Preferred:
• Project experience in manufacturing, healthcare, energy, or chemical sectors
• Experience supporting Japanese companies in Europe
• Business-level German or French
• Experience in team management or startup/early-stage project environments
