SALARY: DOE €80k + bonus

LOCATION: Dusseldorf
BENEFIT: 28-30 days (increasing by 1 day each year, max. 30 days)
Gear Engineer Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and optimise applications for plastic gears and related components
• Provide technical proposals and design specifications based on customer requirements
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites in Asia to support prototyping and preparation for mass production
• Analyse and resolve technical challenges in gear applications
• Apply experience with metal gears or gear-assembled components as required
• Support European customers with technical guidance and application advice
Gear Engineer Ideal Candidate:
• Experience in design and development of plastic gears or related components
• Knowledge of mechanical design and material properties
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical analysis capabilities
• Experience in a team-based development environment
• Experience with metal gears or gear-assembled components is advantageous
• Business-level proficiency in both English and German is required
