Main Responsibilities
Responsible for providing technical support and application engineering services for industrial equipment in collaboration with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Consult with customers to understand requirements and propose suitable technical solutions
• Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD
• Create technical documentation, including specifications
• Perform performance calculations to ensure compliance with customer requirements and testing standards
• Coordinate product specifications with factories in Japan, the USA, and China
• Provide technical support to distributors and internal teams
• Support sales activities with technical expertise
• Assist with equipment commissioning and modifications when required
Ideal Candidate
Required
• Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or similar)
• Experience in application engineering, service engineering, or technical support
• Experience using CAD (2D/3D)
• Business-level English
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel
Desired
• German and/or French language skills
• Experience working with distributors or customer-facing roles
• Hands-on mindset and willingness to support installation when required
