Main Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage transportation documents and shipping-related paperwork
• Arrange and coordinate domestic and international logistics, including scheduling and tracking
• Select appropriate ocean carriers with a focus on cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency
• Support the customs clearance process in cooperation with certified personnel
• Analyse global shipping market data and assist in freight rate forecasting
• Develop and optimize logistics networks, including import, export, and cross-border (triangular) trade
• Coordinate and manage chartering and shipment operations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers and shipping companies
• Support negotiation of trade conditions with ocean carriers
• Prepare transportation contracts with overseas clients
• Assist in concluding and managing international transportation agreements
• Monitor and respond to changes in market conditions to ensure logistical efficiency

Ideal Candidate:
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Deep interest in global logistics and the shipping industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret logistics data and trends
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience in freight forwarding is a plus
• Strong personal network within logistics or shipping sectors is highly valued
• Familiarity with international transportation contracts is beneficial
• Fluent in English and Japanese
• Experience working with or within Asian corporations would be an advantage
