A Japanese global manufacturer is recruiting a French-Speaking Sales Manager to join their office near Paris.
You will be responsible for driving sales of electrical components to the aircraft, automotive, electronics, and medical industries, while managing existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities. You will also be expected to take over operations of the French branch in the near future.
The ideal candidate should have strong B2B sales experience in the manufacturing industry (specifically cables/electronics), fluency in French and English, and a driver's license. Understanding of Japanese business culture is advantageous

LOCATION: South of Paris - hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

French-Speaking Sales Manager Main Responsibilities:
• Drive B2B sales of electrical parts across key industries (aircraft, automotive, electronics, medical)
• Develop and implement sales strategies, including planning, execution, and KPI management
• Manage and lead a small sales team of approximately five members, providing guidance and performance oversight
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, including manufacturers, suppliers, and maintenance organizations
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and prospect new clients
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management
• Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close sales deals
• Provide technical and commercial product information, offering tailored solutions
• Coordinate with internal teams (technical, logistics, operations) to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
• Oversee office management and contribute to overall business operations
• Travel across France, other EU countries, and North Africa as required

French-Speaking Sales Manager Ideal Candidate:
• Proven B2B sales experience in the manufacturing industry (preferably cables/electronics)
• Experience in managing a small team (around 5 people) is highly desirable
• Strong experience in sales strategy planning, KPI management, and reporting
• Business development experience, including new client acquisition
• Experience working in a Japanese company is a plus
• Understanding of Japanese business culture is advantageous
• Japanese language skills are a plus (not mandatory)
• Experience in the aircraft or electronics industry is advantageous
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
• Ability to understand technical products and communicate value effectively
• Business-level fluency in French and English
• Valid driving licence (mandatory)
• Willingness to travel
