Japanese-speaking Administration & Planning Senior Clerk

An international bank is currently recruiting an Administration & Planning Senior Clerk to join its Credit Business Co-ordination team.
The role will support credit administration activities, including loan and deposit administration, KYC processes, credit application reviews, and relationship management support. The position also provides administrative assistance to the front office team, contributing to smooth day-to-day banking operations.
The ideal candidate should have experience in financial services, strong administrative skills, good attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.

Main Responsibilities
• Support credit administration activities related to loans, deposits, savings accounts and customer transactions
• Handle customer instructions and coordinate with internal banking departments
• Monitor loan and deposit maturity reports and support transaction processing
• Maintain relationship management databases, customer records and transaction information
• Support KYC processes by collecting documents, updating systems and coordinating with relevant stakeholders
• Review credit applications and liaise with front office teams regarding amendments or corrections
• Provide administrative support to the Global Banking Unit, including travel and entertainment expense administration
• Assist with business trip arrangements and internal approval processes
Ideal Candidate
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial services or a related credit administration environment
• Experience with credit monitoring or banking operations preferred
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Access
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive and reliable approach to administrative responsibilities

• Salary: Up to £36,500 level per annum depending on experience

• Working Hours: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
