The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining direct contacts with customers (new and existing), providing customers and outside sales with support in both quotations, follow up, and customer contacts.

LOCATION: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Inside Sales Representative Main Responsibilities:
• In daily contact with our clients by phone, email for our Ocean freight division
• Making Quotations & follow up
• Maintaining the relationship with our overseas offices
• Supporting our outside sales team with follow up of visits and new prospects
• Prospecting new customers, in close cooperation with our outside sales
• Actively contacting new sales leads
• Making appointments for outside sales to new prospects
• Main contact for our operational team concerning commercial decisions
• Reporting of activities done by both inside sales and outside sales
• Weekly reports of performance
Inside Sales Representative Ideal Candidate:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales (preferably in logistics)
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent trouble shooting skills with the ability to resolve operational problems effectively and proactively
• Communicative and can get along well with diverse personalities and cultures, tactful and flexible
• Determined/persistent to achieve department goals and hands-on approach
• Team player with the flexibility and desire to work in a dynamic and faced paced environment with high volumes
