LOCATION: Krefeld, Germany (Office based, but 1 day work from home can be applicable)
Key Responsibilities of the HR Manager
• Oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare and review HR documentation such as employment contracts, offer letters, reports, and HR communications.
• Lead and support HR initiatives and projects, including policy implementation, compliance reviews, and employee engagement programs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees and management on all HR-related matters, providing guidance and advice when needed.
• Manage expatriate employee support, including:
o Coordination of visa and work permit applications/renewals
o Assistance with relocation (housing, utilities, local registration)
o Orientation and continuous support during assignments
o Liaison with government authorities, relocation vendors, and internal departments
o Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies
• Plan and organize company-wide events, training sessions, and HR-driven activities to strengthen engagement and organizational culture.
• Oversee general office administration, including facility management, office supplies, and vendor coordination, to ensure a smooth daily operation.
Ideal Candidates for the HR Manager
• Fluent in German and English
• Understanding of Japanese is advantageous
• 3+ years of experience in HR and/or general affairs administrative roles
• Experience supporting expatriate staff is highly preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
