Key Account Manager Main Responsibilities:
● Own and grow relationships with key UK grocery retailers
● Lead Joint Business Plans, delivering revenue, margin, distribution, and rate-of-sale targets
● Drive range expansion, new product sell-in, and promotional activity
● Use data to identify issues and opportunities and to inform decisions
● Act as the commercial voice of the customer internally
Key Account Manager Ideal Candidate:
● 3+ years of experience managing UK grocery multiples or equivalent key account management experience
● Proven commercial and negotiation skills with experience driving profitable growth
● Passion about food and eagerness to learn about Japanese cuisine
● Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently with incomplete information
● Comfortable in Japanese corporate culture, respectful, can-do mindset, attention to details, and collaborative
● Flexible and adaptable, thriving in a less structured and entrepreneurial environment
● Business level fluency in English
● Some understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese language would be advantageous
