TYPE: Permanent (6-month probation period)
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hrs/week
SALARY: up to €100K dependant on experience, plus company car and generous pension scheme

LOCATION: Krefeld (Office basis in general as standard policy, hybrid can be applicable only where there are special circumstances that merit consideration.)

Finance Manager Main Responsibilities:

Finance and Accounting tasks
• Prepare, maintain, and audit the entire accounting and finance operation
• Supervise the Accounts Assistant and confirm accounting entries with supporting documents
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing within prescribed deadlines
• Conduct and interpret variance analysis on a monthly basis and discuss the results with other departments and board members
• Approval for daily incoming/outgoing payments
• Coordinate internal and external auditing processes and provide support to auditors
• Communicate with banks and confirm import/export and currency transactions
• Analyse financial data to support strategic business decisions
• Develop internal controls and continuously improve manual processes (Excel-based) due to current system limitations

Finance Manager Ideal Candidate:
• Hands on Accounting experience gained ideally within an accounting firm
• Experience of monthly and yearly closing
• Experience of creating budget and analysis
• Good verbal and written Japanese, English, German language skills
• Ability to work and communicate well with internal and external stakeholders
