A global business development consultancy is currently recruiting a Marketing Coordinator - Japan to join its global marketing team in Tokyo.
The Marketing Coordinator will support marketing campaigns, content creation, events, lead generation, and performance analysis to strengthen the company’s presence among Japanese corporate clients. Main Responsibilities
• Create Japanese content for websites, emails, newsletters, and social media channels
• Manage sales and marketing materials including presentation decks, flyers, and infographics
• Support online and offline events, partner events, and trade shows
• Manage relationships with suppliers, partners, and external stakeholders
• Analyse sales and marketing data using CRM and marketing platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot
• Support lead generation activities and networking with potential clients and partners
• Create digital graphics and marketing materials using tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, or Photoshop
• Support wider sales, marketing, and operational initiatives as required
Ideal Candidate
• Native-level Japanese language skills with excellent written and verbal communication ability
• Business level of fluency in English
• 2+ years’ experience in business, marketing, content creation, or related fields
• Experience creating Japanese content such as articles, newsletters, press releases, or marketing materials
• Experience supporting business events, campaigns, or client engagement activities
• Strong interest in technology, sustainability, innovation, and international business
• Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn in a fast-changing environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
• Experience using marketing tools such as LinkedIn, HubSpot, or similar platforms is advantageous
• Experience creating digital content and graphics using tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or PowerPoint is advantageous
• University degree in business, management, marketing, or a related field
Conditions

• Salary: ¥4,000,000–¥5,000,000 per annum depending on experience
• Job Type: permanent, full-time
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm
• Start: negotiable, ideally September start
