You will be responsible for EU accounting operations, financial reporting, branch closings, and compliance.
Dutch GAP knowledge is mandatory for this position.

TYPE: Full-time, Service agreement base (The initial contract will be for 6 months and may be extended for an additional 6 months)
WORKING HOURS: 08:30-17:00 (Monday- Thursday) and on Fridays 08:30 - 16:00 including 30mins lunch break
SALARY: Hourly rate of €55-70 (includes everything: commuting fee, tax, holiday allowance, bonus)

LOCATION: Amsterdam Arena, The Netherlands (Hybrid work: 2 days in the office, 3 days’ work from home)
Interim Senior Finance Clerk Main Responsibilities:
● General ledger control in all EU offices, prioritising the NL
● Oversee Monthly Cost booking and Accruals in NL office
● Oversee branch closing for all offices
● Assist in consolidation and reporting for all EU entities
● Knowledge in transfer pricing
● Responsible for the complete accounting and administration of the French branch
● Oversee all Local Reporting
● CBS and other Statistics
● Apply general ledger control for the Netherlands branch
Interim Senior Finance Clerk Ideal Candidate:
● Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial control
● Strong understanding of Dutch GAAP (must) and IFRS (preferred)
● Fluency in English, and any European language – especially French – would be an advantage
● Immediately available to start
● Must hold a valid KvK number and be able to work under a Service Agreement, or be willing to obtain a KvK registration prior to the start of the assignment
● Having skills for VAT and CIT knowledge for the Netherlands preferable
● Knowledge with S4 Hana in the FI module
● Experience in external financial audits
