You will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing infrastructure HVDC projects in line with specifications, contractual conditions, schedule, and budget, while defining project goals, KPIs, and monitoring quality, health and safety, and environmental compliance.
The ideal candidate should have around 10 years in long term project management experience in the power cable sector and business level fluency in German (C1) and English.

Project Operation Manager Main Responsibilities:
● Define project stages, objectives, and costs for each stage, and maintain and update the project plan as work progresses
● Coordinate all cross-functional topics in the project throughout the entire project duration according to company and customer requirements
● Introduce policies and processes for clear communication with all parties involved in the project
● Review project progress and update monitoring and control of project results for internal and external customers
● Optimize service provision and ensure compliance with deadlines
● Liaise with the client's representatives, civil contractors, and the converter station contractor, and attend liaison meetings as required
● Interface with other parallel projects to create synergies and alignments
● Liaise with the Commercial Manager to ensure a clear understanding of financial and commercial issues at each stage of the project
● Prepare monthly reports on all aspects of project performance for the Project Director
Project Operation Manager Ideal Candidate:
● Minimum 10 years of project management experience in EPC environments, preferably in highly regulated sectors and long-term projects, with a focus on civil works
● Degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
● Business level fluency in both German (C1) and English
● Experience working with general contractors, energy providers, or companies involved in plant or equipment construction, or similar industries
● Solid technical understanding of infrastructure projects and ability to see broader project interdependencies
● Experience leading and coordinating diverse, cross-functional, and international project teams
● Strong knowledge of commercial, technical, and legal project aspects
● Willingness to travel frequently
● Recognised project management certification such as IPMA, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
● Experience in highly regulated sectors and long-term projects
