A Japanese company is currently recruiting an Italian speaking Sales Engineer (Civil/Geotechnical Engineering) to work in their Almere office.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of eco-friendly construction methodologies and acting as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries within the construction industry.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in civil or geotechnical engineering, strong communication abilities, and skills in technical sales and client engagement.

Sales Engineer (Civil/Geotechnical Engineering) Main Responsibilities:
● Act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, issue coordination, and problem resolution
● Build relationships with principals and engineering firms by attending industry conferences and seminars, generating leads, and following up on opportunities
● Present new technologies, products, and services at conferences, seminars, and other industry events
● Support the acquisition and development of new business opportunities by identifying market trends and reporting insights
● Maintain and strengthen existing relationships with partners and customers to ensure long-term engagement
● Deliver product training sessions internally and at customer locations to enhance product knowledge and usage
● Advise potential clients on suitable construction methodologies and structural designs tailored to their project requirements
● Collaborate with internal teams and technical specialists to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively
● Contribute to the optimisation of sales processes and assist in developing strategies for promoting new products
● Participate in customer onboarding, strategic planning, and provide consultative services to support successful project execution
● Business trip to Italy

Sales Engineer (Civil/Geotechnical Engineering) Ideal Candidate:
● Background in civil or geotechnical engineering with hands-on experience in related construction projects
● Excellent communication skills in Italian and English
● Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments
● Self-motivated, solution-oriented, adaptable, culturally aware, proactive
● Experience in a technical sales role or as part of a project team
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with AutoCAD
