Cloud Engineer Main Responsibilities:
• Undertake and manage infrastructure-related projects, ensuring comprehensive design and implementation as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Oversee small-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion, guaranteeing successful delivery
• Ensure that all projects adhere to the predefined scope, budget constraints, and scheduled timelines
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients regarding project developments and issues throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop detailed project plans, proposals, and applications to secure necessary approvals for project initiation
• Generate project highlight reports tailored for both management and client review, providing transparency and updates on project status
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to facilitate necessary changes and implementations within the project framework
• Uphold professional standards and practices as an IT project engineer, adapting to the demands of a dynamic work environment
• Provide support and resolution for technical issues that emerge during project execution, ensuring minimal disruption
• Recommend and execute design modifications to IT infrastructures, aligning with project requirements and advancements
• Document operational procedures, create manuals, announce updates to users, and manage internal application documentation
• Travel to branch offices across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to ensure consistent project execution and alignment with corporate standards
• Perform any additional ad-hoc tasks as directed by management, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to evolving business needs
Cloud Engineer Ideal Candidate:
• 3 to 5 years of technical experience, showing a track record of increasing responsibility
• Proficiency in cloud technology, especially AWS and Azure knowledge and skills are essential
• Experience in on-premise – cloud migration and designing & implementing cloud native services is essential
• Knowledge of Entra ID for identity management solutions
• Extensive experience in server support, including design and implementation
• Experience in a multi-site networked IT environment
• Strong background in server and network security
• Experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft 365 technologies
• Experience with SAN storage solutions and server management
• Basic networking experience, including familiarity with SD-WAN
• Windows OS & Server application experience
• Experience with Cisco Wireless environment
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewall is preferred
• Business level fluency in English
• Understanding of Japanese business culture and language will be preferred
