You will be responsible for supporting Japanese clients with IT infrastructure operations and project management, ensuring a stable and secure IT environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing IT infrastructures, project management skills, and strong communication abilities.
Understanding of Japanese culture and business level fluency in Japanese is essential.

IT Project Manager Main Responsibilities:
● Responsible for IT infrastructure operations
● Primarily handle the operation of IT infrastructure environments commissioned by clients
● The target IT infrastructure environments include PCs, servers, networks, cloud, and security systems, mainly managed by the client's headquarters in Japan. The PM will communicate and handle operational tasks using both English and Japanese, depending on the stakeholders
● Examples of tasks (these are just examples and not limited to the following):
- Coordination with clients and partner companies (proposals, project management, etc.) for network construction and closure projects associated with the establishment or closure of client bases in the EMEA region
- Coordination with the client's headquarters in Japan (and their commissioned IT partner companies) to address requests, issues, and system failures arising from end-users in the local region using cloud services managed by the client's headquarters in Japan
- Responding to various requests regularly and irregularly communicated from the client's headquarters in Japan (such as inventory of accounts and systems, surveys for the introduction of new services, etc.)
- Explaining various operational statuses and issue responses during meetings with clients
- Creating and updating necessary documents (such as configuration diagrams and procedure manuals) for stable operations
- Handling maintenance updates for servers and network equipment managed by the client's headquarters in Japan
● Depending on the task, there may be cases where the PM collaborates with local engineers or handles coordination with clients and partners independently (assuming the PM has knowledge of IT infrastructure at the PM level)
● Organise the current contract contents and performance records, negotiate with the client, and execute the contract

IT Project Manager Ideal Candidate:
● Experience working in an IT infrastructure environment, with enough technical understanding to manage both operations and projects
● Strong customer relationship skills, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining client trust
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language in English and Japanese
● Proven ability to plan and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets using tools such as Microsoft Excel
● Experience defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives
● Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
● Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and operational tasks simultaneously
● Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
● Solid understanding of the IT project lifecycle and service management best practices

<Preferred>
● At least 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure operations and/or project management roles
● PRINCE2 Practitioner or similar project management certification (e.g., PMP, ITIL).
