A major Chinese bank is currently recruiting for a Regulatory Reporting Specialist for its Frankfurt branch. The bank provides commercial banking services to international corporate clients and offers the opportunity to develop your career within a global financial institution.
This position is suitable for professionals with experience in either bank regulatory reporting or German taxation. You will join a collaborative international team where responsibilities will be assigned according to your expertise and professional background.

Main Responsibilities
Regulatory Reporting
• Prepare and submit regulatory and statistical reports in accordance with German and European banking regulations
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and submission deadlines
• Validate and reconcile financial data across core banking and regulatory reporting systems
• Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of new reporting requirements
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external service providers
German Taxation
• Prepare and submit German corporate tax, trade tax and VAT returns
• Manage withholding tax matters relating to cross-border transactions
• Support transfer pricing documentation and OECD Pillar Two compliance
• Coordinate with tax authorities, auditors and external advisers
• Analyse tax-related data and support internal and external tax enquiries
Ideal Candidate
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Business Administration or a related discipline, or a recognised qualification such as Certified Accountant or Tax Adviser
• At least 3 years' relevant experience in financial services or an audit firm, ideally within the financial services sector
• Native-level German (C-level) and business level English
• Experience in either regulatory reporting or German taxation
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good MS Office skills, experience with SQL, BI tools or data analysis tools would be advantageous
• Able to work independently in a regulated environment and meet deadlines under pressure
