Main Responsibilities:
• Handle ocean import operations primarily from Japan
• Prepare and manage shipping documents
• Enter shipment data into internal ERP systems
• Share ETA and shipment details with clients
• Coordinate with ocean carriers regarding additional charges or transit arrangements
• Arrange inland transportation
• Support quotation and invoice preparation
• Handle general commodity types, including some hazardous goods
• Collaborate with certified staff for customs clearance processes
Ideal Candidate:
• No prior experience required, but logistics interest is essential
• Flexible, proactive, eager to learn, and open to working with international teams
• Understanding of Japanese corporate culture would be a plus
• Comfortable using internal ERP systems
• Fluent in English (mandatory); Dutch or other European languages are a plus
