A Japanese logistics company in Düsseldorf is looking for an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join their team, to be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, promoting logistics services, and driving sales growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international logistics sales or shipping operations, with a deep understanding of freight forwarding processes.

Inside Sales Representative Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients in the logistics and freight forwarding sector
• Understand customer needs and propose tailored international logistics solutions
• Handle inbound sales inquiries and assist clients with product and service information
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth handling of shipments and logistics processes
• Provide accurate quotes, estimates, and product information to customers
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
• Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall business growth
• Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align strategies and drive results
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, shipping regulations, and market developments

Inside Sales Representative Ideal Candidate:
• 3+ years of recent experience in international logistics sales or shipping operations at a forwarding or logistics company
• Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding processes, customs procedures, and logistics services
• Proven track record in sales, with the ability to meet or exceed targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken), German language skills will be a plus
• Experience working with Japanese clients and understanding of Japanese business culture will be advantageous
