In this role, you will be responsible for the technical management of ocean-going bulk carriers and woodchip carriers, supporting vessel maintenance, repair coordination, procurement of spare parts, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of managed vessels.
The ideal candidate should have sailing experience as a First Assistant Engineer or Chief Engineer on ocean-going bulk carriers, strong technical knowledge of vessel machinery, and the ability to communicate effectively with shipyards, suppliers, and vessel crew.

Technical Superintendent Main Responsibilities:
• Manage the technical operation of bulk carriers and woodchip carriers
• Support maintenance and repair of vessel machinery and engine-related equipment
• Arrange procurement and delivery of spare parts, stores, and vessel supplies
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with shipyards, manufacturers, suppliers, and vessel crews
• Monitor the condition and performance of onboard equipment
• Support initiatives to prevent maritime accidents and improve vessel safety
• Attend vessel inspections, surveys, and audits as required
• Liaise with vessels and relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with technical standards and operational requirements
• Prepare technical reports and maintain maintenance-related records
Technical Superintendent Ideal Candidate:
• Experience serving on ocean-going bulk carriers
• Previous experience as First Assistant Engineer (1st Engineer) or Chief Engineer
• Technical Superintendent experience is advantageous but not essential
• Candidates seeking to transition from a seagoing engineering role to a shore-based position are welcome to apply
• Strong knowledge of marine engineering, vessel maintenance, and repair management
• Business-level English communication skills
• Ability to travel within Europe and internationally when required
