Business Development Manager MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• New sales development for distributors and wholesalers in the UK
• Managing the relationship with existing distributors in the UK and Europe
• Visit clients across the UK
• Attend trade fairs across the Europe
• Planning and managing sales strategy
• Working with the line manager (National Sales Manager) to develop a strong and prosperous client base
• Performing market research to understand new avenues of development
• Keeping customers informed of deliveries and keeping an open line of communication to them
• Other administrative tasks
Business Development Manager IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• At least 5 years of sales/BD experience in a similar industry, within the UK or Europe
• Valid UK driving license
• Self- management skill
• Autonomous and confident in handling responsibilities, as well as a willingness to take on other responsibilities to expand the business
• Good communication skills
• Fluent verbal and written English skills
• Japanese and other language skills are advantageous
