Account Manager (Automotive OEM) – Dusseldorf / Stuttgart

A leading Japanese manufacturer of Bearings and other mechanical components are currently recruiting an Account Manager for their Automotive OEM clients in either Dusseldorf or Stuttgart. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of sales experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of mechanical products.
Some understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skills would be advantageous.

SALARY: €100K annually depending on experience (includes 13th month bonus)
START: Negotiable
LOCATION: Dusseldorf OR Stuttgart, Germany (Hybrid work will be available after training)
WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (hybrid working style)
BENEFITS: 30 days annual leaves, company car

Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Working closely with a Japanese Sales Manager
- Building relationships with existing OEM customers in Europe
- Attending trade shows 1-2 times a year
- Liaising with engineers
- Negotiations with customers, regular meetings, and preparation of quotations
- Lead in the development of new customers
- Visiting clients’ site in Europe (some business trip within Europe will be required)

Account Manager Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of Sales experience in automotive industry
- Some knowledge of mechanical parts or components
- Business level English and German language skills required
- Understanding of Japanese culture or business is mandatory
- Japanese skills will be advantageous
- PC skills (Microsoft office)
- Ability to work independently and remotely
