A confidential international financial institution is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its finance team in Frankfurt. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with experience in the financial services sector who is looking to broaden their exposure across accounting, financial control and regulatory reporting.
Working as part of an international finance function, you will support day-to-day accounting operations while contributing to financial reporting, audits and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a financial institution, strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Main Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day accounting operations and support periodic financial reporting
- Assist with financial control, product control, management reporting and operational control activities
- Process accounts payable transactions and support procurement activities
- Support internal and external audits together with tax-related processes
- Assist with regulatory reporting including IFR/WpIG and Bundesbank reporting
- Contribute to financial and regulatory disclosures
- Work closely with the wider finance team to improve processes and ensure accurate reporting
Ideal Candidate
- 2-3 years of accounting or finance experience within a financial institution
- Experience supporting financial reporting, accounting operations or financial control
- Understanding of regulatory reporting or financial reporting requirements is advantageous
- Business-level English and German language skills
- Proactive with a positive attitude towards solving problems independently
- Reliable, organised and able to deliver work accurately and consistently
- Looking for a stable position with long-term career development rather than short-term contract assignments
Conditions
• Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany
• Working Style: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the office)
• Salary: €45,000-€60,000 per annum (full-time equivalent), depending on experience
• Job Type: Initial 2-year fixed-term contract (50-70% part-time), with the possibility of conversion to a permanent contract
• Working Hours: Part-time (50-70%)
• Start: Expected from 1 December 2026
• Benefits: TBC
