Japanese-speaking General Affairs Coordinator

A Japanese company is currently recruiting a General Affairs Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of its newly established UK entity in the Greater London Area.
The General Affairs Coordinator will work closely with the CEO, internal teams, and external professional advisers, supporting general administration, HR administration, accounting, office management, vendor coordination, and compliance-related activities.
The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of experience in general administration, HR administration, sales administration, or corporate support, together with strong organisational skills and experience working in an English-speaking business environment.

Main Responsibilities
• Manage general office administration including supplies, facilities, corporate documents, contracts, meetings, visitors, and business travel
• Support HR administration including employee records, onboarding and offboarding, employment documentation, pensions, and employee benefits
• Support visa and Sponsor Licence administration including documentation, UKVI submissions, right-to-work checks, and expatriate relocation processes
• Provide finance and accounting support including invoice and expense processing, payment requests, expense reporting, and coordination with external accountants
• Manage vendor and contract administration including supplier records, purchase orders, contracts, and payment status
• Support compliance activities including Companies House and HMRC documentation, internal policies, procedures, and audit preparation
• Establish and maintain administrative processes and operational procedures for the UK entity
• Build an effective administrative infrastructure that enables the CEO to focus on business development and brand management
Ideal Candidate
• 2–5 years' experience in general administration, HR administration, sales administration, or other corporate support functions
• Experience working in an English-speaking business environment
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent document management and record-keeping abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Basic knowledge of accounting and HR administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience working for a Japanese company is advantageous
• UK work experience is advantageous
• Payroll administration experience is advantageous
• Experience supporting Sponsor Licence administration or visa applications is advantageous
• Experience working with accounting firms or supporting a new UK company setup is advantageous
• Business fluency level of Japanese
