A Japanese global logistics company is currently recruiting a Logistics Customer Service Coordinator to join its Frankfurt office.
This position offers the opportunity to work in an international logistics environment, coordinating shipments and supporting customers while liaising with overseas offices and internal teams. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering a high standard of customer service.
The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics or freight forwarding, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
• Prepare quotations and manage customer enquiries
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments
• Process invoices including triangle shipment transactions
• Communicate with customers, overseas offices and internal departments
• Monitor shipment progress and provide timely status updates
• Prepare and maintain operational documentation, reports and databases
• Support process improvements and assist with training junior team members
Ideal Candidate
• At least 3 years' experience in logistics, freight forwarding or customer service
• Fluent German and English communication skills
• Experience coordinating international shipments
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Able to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach
• Japanese language skills or knowledge of Japanese business culture would be advantageous
Conditions
• Location: Frankfurt, Germany
• Working Style: office-based
• Salary: over €52,000 per annum depending on experience
• Job Type: permanent, full-time
• Working Hours: 8:30–17:30, Monday to Friday (flexible working hours may be considered)
• Start: ASAP
• Benefits: transportation expenses partially covered
