Japanese speaking Senior Infrastructure Engineer & Project Manager

This role will be within a team of engineers providing third line user technical escalation for operational incidents as well as to be involved in small to large-size IT infrastructure projects as a senior server engineer.
This role will require experience in managing enterprise sized IT infrastructure and possessing a high level of technical knowledge so that you can provide a good insight into customer’s server infrastructure.
Within this role you will be able to experience both projects and operations tasks in various IT infrastructure areas as well as geographic sites with mainly IP network and Windows server environment.
Business level of fluency in both English and Japanese is required.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer & Project Manager Main Responsibilities:
• Undertake network and infrastructure related projects and provide a basic to detailed design for implementation
• Manage infrastructure projects end to end
• Ensure projects are delivered in scope, within budget and on time
• Communicate with the customer on all project issues throughout the project
• Create Project plan, proposal, and Application for approval
• Create project highlight reports for both management and customer
• Manage 3rd party for the changes & implementation
• Act professionally as an infrastructure project engineer in a fast-paced environment
• Support and troubleshoot network technical issues arising in the projects
• Propose and implement design changes to infrastructure environments as required
• Document operational procedures, manual creation, user announcement and internal applications
• Conduct business trips to European, Middle Eastern, and African branch offices
• Any ad-hoc work assigned by the Manager
Senior Infrastructure Engineer & Project Manager Ideal Candidate:
• Business level of fluency in both English and Japanese (JLPT N1)
• 3-5 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility
• Experience of a fast-paced helpdesk environment is required for this role
• Extensive experience of server support, design, and implementation
• Experience of a multi-site networked IT environment is required
• Implementing and supporting Microsoft 365 SaaS and PaaS Technologies
• Experience with cloud services (particularly, Azure, AWS, and GCP)
• Azure Active Directory and Federation services
• Windows OS & Server application experience is necessary
(ADFS, Exchange, LAN/WAN Networking, SD-WAN, Storage/SAN, IT Security)
• Microsoft 365Excellent server troubleshooting skills are critical to the role
• Experience with Cisco WIFI access points
• Good documentation skills are required
• Project management skill is an advantage
• Skills in Networking technologies and protocols are beneficial to the role
• Ability to quickly learn new environments and take on a challenge
• Demonstrated ability to use initiative and take responsibility of incidents and problems
• Good time management skills
• Experience working for professional organization or MSP and applies good customer service
• Good communication skills with all levels of stakeholders, managers, engineers, vendors and end users
• Flexibility and commitment to deal with changing demands
