A leading research and development organisation is currently recruiting a Network Administrator to join its IT team in Offenbach am Main, near Frankfurt.
The Network Administrator will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's network infrastructure, ensuring secure and reliable IT operations while contributing to a range of IT infrastructure and network projects.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking technologies and be eager to continue developing their technical expertise.

Main Responsibilities
• Administer and monitor the company's LAN, WAN, and WLAN network infrastructure
• Manage firewalls and maintain network security
• Support and provide technical advice for company-wide IT projects
• Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows and Linux servers and storage systems
• Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues to ensure stable IT operations
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
• Work closely with internal teams to support business IT requirements

Ideal Candidate
• 2+ years' hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Cisco network equipment
• IT-related qualification such as Fachinformatiker or equivalent IT training
• Experience in network administration
• Knowledge of networking technologies and hardware including Cisco switches, routers and Fortinet firewalls
• Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Fluent English and German (C1 or above)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and develop professionally

Conditions
• Location: Frankfurt, Germany
• Working Style: Office-based
• Salary: €60,000–€70,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Job Type: Permanent, full-time
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday
