A Japanese manufacturer is currently recruiting a Sales & Marketing Specialist to support its automotive safety products business in Germany.
The Sales & Marketing Specialist will be responsible for sales and marketing activities, including quotation support, customer negotiations, sales planning, and coordination with internal and global teams. The role will contribute to expanding business opportunities for automotive safety products across Europe.
The ideal candidate should have strong automotive sales experience, proven experience managing vehicle quotation projects through to mass production, and fluent German, English, and Japanese communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
• Manage sales and marketing activities for automotive safety products, including quotations, customer negotiations, and internal coordination
• Support business expansion activities for safety products such as inflators, initiators, seatbelt pretensioners, and power disconnect devices
• Prepare, update, and monitor sales budgets and forecasts
• Coordinate with Japan headquarters and overseas group companies
• Prepare monthly reports and internal/external business materials
• Analyse sales data and prepare presentation materials using Excel and PowerPoint

Ideal Candidate
• 5+ years' sales experience in the automotive industry
• 3+ years' experience managing vehicle quotation projects from RFQ through to mass production start
• Business level of fluency in German, English, and Japanese
• Experience negotiating with European companies
• Proven track record of achieving business growth and sales expansion
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills using Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience working for a Japanese company is advantageous
• Proactive, independent, and able to identify and improve business processes

Conditions
• Location: Frankfurt, Germany
• Working Style: hybrid (2–3 days WFH available)
• Salary: €60-80k (basic €60-74k plus bonus) depending on experience
• Job Type: permanent, full-time
• Working Hours: 9:00-18:00 from Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
• Start: negotiable
