SALARY: £26k - £30k depending on experience
LOCATION: West Drayton, London
HOURS: Mon - Fri 9:00 – 17:30 sometimes overtime or weekend work (will be paid)

THE ROLE
The import clerk will be responsible for dealing with customers to maintain/develop business. And liaise with all the parties concerned to expedite shipments smoothly
RESPONSIBILITIES
Liaise with customers on any mandatory information required for handling their freight 
communicate with staff in the operation departments to arrange shipments and maintain regular contact with customers to identify their operational needs
Reply adequately to enquiries from customers by phone calls, emails or in other forms
Deal with customers complaints, provide appropriate solutions and follow ups and communicate internally to improve service quality
Provide ad-hoc assistance
Ad-hoc support to Line Managers

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Experience working in the import/export industry
Flexible working attitude
Hard-working individual with good communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft packages
