Based in Amstelveen in their international work environment the Finance Manager will report directly to the CFO of EMEA in the Netherlands.
Business trips within Europe and occasionally to Tokyo will be required for this role.
As Finance Organisation structure at our organisation is under transformation stage, CoE position has to be rather taken as the one to create a new Financial Operation standard in our company.

TYPE: Full-time role, initially 1 year contract (there is potential to become permanent)
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:30, Monday to Friday
SALARY: €70-90k Euro per annual, depending on experience (including 1 month bonus and holiday allowance)
START: ASAP (TBD)
LOCATION: Amstelveen, the Netherlands (After training, 1 day working from home is acceptable)
BENEFIT: transportation fee, pension, 25 days annual leave
Finance Manager Responsibilities:
• Direct report to CFO of EMEA
• Own following tasks;
• Financial Planning (Lead the development of the organization's financial plans, including annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans)
• Financial Analysis (Conduct thorough financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and risks)
• Reporting (Prepare and distribute financial reports and dashboards to senior management and key stakeholders includes Japan HQ)
• Design, lead and initiate strategic projects/initiatives relating to but not limited to Finance functions (e.g. treasury projects, taxation projects, M&A finance etc)
• Influence and support senior management’s decision making by providing financial data, analysis and insights
• Establish mutual communication channels with business partners, design business partnering schemes and accelerate inter-functional understanding
• Any necessary preparation and follow-up works for the above items
Finance Manager Ideal Candidate:
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related roles, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities
• Understanding of European business culture is mandatory
• Business fluency in English is mandatory
• Not must, but Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
• Some understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese language would be advantageous
• Some Dutch or other European language would be also advantageous
