The Graduate Accounting Officer is responsible for Accounts Payable/Receivable, as well as reconciling invoices in the sub ledger. The Graduate Accounting Officer must speak business level Dutch.

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, flexible, Core times 9:00 – 16:30 (8 hours + 30 minutes break)
SALARY: €2,500 – 3,000 per month, depending on experience plus annual bonus
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Graduate Accounting Officer Main Responsibilities:
• Accounts Payable - Booking invoices
• Accounts Receivable - Collection by mail and phone
• Preparation of Banks Booking
• Preparation of necessary journal entries.
• Book and reconcile Intra/Intercompany invoices in sub ledger Accounts Receivable and Payable
• Work together with the team for a proper monthly closing of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Possible future tasks:
• Monthly settlements for several Intercompany offices (AP & AR)
• Prepare VAT declaration
• Fixed assets administration
• Prepare cashflow forecast for foreign currency
Graduate Accounting Officer Ideal Candidate:
• You have a finished degree in Accounting (HBO level or MBO with experience)
• Experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
• Outstanding knowledge of Excel
• Fluency in written and spoken Dutch and English
• You are a team player, accurate, and efficient
• And have good accounting and analytic skills
